Freedom Friday

Freedom Friday occurs at the conclusion of each three-week academic period.

Students who have completed the required PACE in every subject, passed the required tests, and remain On Pace earn the privilege of not attending school on Freedom Friday.

Students with unfinished academic requirements attend school that Friday to complete their work and work toward returning On Pace.

When a scheduled Freedom Friday coincides with a schoolwide holiday or break, Freedom Friday is canceled and all students receive the day off.

Early Summer Release

Students who complete all 12 PACEs in each required subject and satisfy all required academic testing and completion requirements may stop attending regular classes beginning Friday, May 7, 2027.

For students who qualify, this provides approximately one additional month of summer vacation, beginning May 7 rather than June 4.

Students who have not completed their required PACEs continue attending through the remainder of the school year until their academic requirements are completed.

All students must attend Graduation & Honor Roll Night on Friday, June 4, regardless of early-release status.
